Recipe

  • 1.5 oz white rum

  • 0.5 oz lemon

  • 0.5 oz lime

  • 0.5 oz hibiscus syrup*

  • 0.5 oz falernum

  • handful mint leaves

  • Shake with 1/2 cup of crushed ice

  • Pour unstrained into a tall goblet. Add more crushed ice and dome it out.

  • Garnish with a mint sprig, hibiscus leaves, and angostura bitters

*hibiscus syrup

  • 500 grams fresh hibiscus pods
  • 2500 grams 1:1 sugar syrup
  • Cook sous vide for 2 hours @140 degrees F. Ice bath, strain through fine strainer
