Pinkglow pineapples (also known as rosé pineapples) are pineapples grown in Costa Rica, have a pink flesh, and are slightly sweeter and less acidic than classic yellow flesh pineapples. They contain higher levels of lycopene, which is the same compound that gives tomatoes and watermelons their color.
